How can I activate my IT Center account?
1.Access to the IT Center English website.
2.Click the"Activation of IT Center Account"link.
3.Enter your [User ID] and [Password] to [Login].
4.Undergraduate or postgraduate students need to pass the online information literacy test.

・The services can be available from 9 am the next day of activation.
・Activation may have been completed in advance in some faculties.First, check your account status. Check the "Confirm your status" page.
What should I do if I have forgotten my password?

The password can be reset at IT Center or each campus office after identity confirmation.
The password resetting cannot be processed on the phone or by FAX as identity confirmation is needed for your security. The resetting procedure is as follows.

Report to an information desk on 4F of IT Center with your ID Card or Entrance Permission Card.

[Takatsuki/Takatsuki Muse/Sakai Campus]

Report to the office of Faculty of Informatics on Takatsuki Campus, the Muse office on Takatsuki Muse Campus or the PC Lab Reception desk on Sakai Campus with your ID Card or Entrance Permission Card.

Where can I get help for use of PC or printing services in IT Center?
When you need help on how to use PC or print out in the free opened PC corners in IT Center or Satellite Station, contact the student staff.

Can I use PC or print out even when I don't carry my Student ID Card?
Report to an information desk on 4F of IT Center with your ID document such as "National Health Insurance Certificate" or "driver's license.
What if all my printing points have been spent?
You can buy stamps for the printing points you need (1 point for printing a sheet in black/white and 5 points for a sheet in full color) at Kyomu-Center(Center for Academic Affairs) on 1F of Building 1 at Dai-2 Gakusha.
Apply to the Reception Counter on 2F of IT Center with the stamps putting on a printing points count-up form.
The points are validated about 10 minutes.
I can't browse off-campus Websites with the error message "AccessDenied (policy_denied)"
This error message is given when your IT Center account has not been activated.
Check the "Confirm your status" page.
In other cases, Cookies need to be deleted with the browser.
Launch Internet Explorer (browser), go to "Tools" > "Internet options" > "General" tab and delete Cookies.

How can I access the network with wireless LAN?

See the setting guide for your OS found in "Services" > "Wireless Network Access" > Set up Guide on the website.

To use the Internet with wireless LAN connection, your IT Center account needs to be activated in advance.
Check the "Confirm your status" page.

Where can I access wireless LAN?
You can use wireless LAN at certain locations on campus. See "Services" > " Wireless Network Access" > Areas where you can use wireless LAN on the website. Network settings need to be configured before use. See "Services" > " Wireless Network Access" > Set up Guide.
I can't login Information System.("認証に失敗しました(Failed to authenticate)" is displayed.)
Check the On/Off status of Num Lock and Caps Lock keys to make sure the numbers and capital/small letters are correctly entered.
See the "Confirm your status" page to check if your user ID or password is correct or still valid.
Even if you forget your password, you can reset it with the secret question settings made in advance.

I can't login Information System.("このユーザーはアクティブではありません(This user is not active)" is displayed.)
In case you enter the wrong user ID or password 5 times, your account is locked for 15 minutes. If you have forgotten your password, report to the Information desk on 4F at IT Center.
I can't login KU Web Mail.(The error message, "Failed to login.User ID or password is invalid." is displayed.)
This error message is given when your IT Center account has not been activated.
Check the "Confirm your status" page.
In other cases, Cookies need to be deleted with the browser.
Launch Internet Explorer (browser), go to "Tools" > "Internet options" > "General" tab and delete Cookies.
What is the size of files that can be sent or received?
The total size of attached files, email bodies, subjects, and header information, etc. shall not exceed 25 MB.
When attaching a large-sized file(s), compress or divide it.
In case of sending over-sized email, an error message is returned to the sender.
